Thanks for reading! If a book is a slow moving, I really have to enjoy the writing style and it has to be interesting, not generally the case here. I think it would work better as a short story.

Yes they do seem to enjoy themselves! They are very bold, I’ve seen them stealing food from people’s hands.

I just feel that reading a book we have very individual ideas of what a character is like, even in ways I can’t articulate, and I often find that they’re not the same on film. Ah yes I have seen the Cider House Rules too (I’ve not read that book). They are both very good films, but I probably wouldn’t re-watch them again.

Some great points there, chocolate can be magical! Like it was the chocolate doing all the work, LOL 😀
