I’ve not looked too deeply into the ideas, I just enjoy them! The first movie is of course the best. I do like the others a lot, but I understand why they’re not as popular.

The action is great (of course), but the philosophical ideas are actually quite profound. I remember we discussed it in a class about metaphysics. The following movies didn’t live up to the first in my opinion.

Good points! I don’t tend to make any notes while I read, not sure why. I agree on leaving books too long before reviewing. If more than 2 or 3 days pass since finishing the book, it’s quite hard to review since it has receded in my memory as I start reading something else!

I don’t really think a lot about my review while reading, sometimes I make a few notes to remember names of places, dates or people, but most often not even that. I do have reviews I left too long then and I should reread to be able to gather my thoughts again so that’s the downside for me.
