I’ve seen the book cover before and was enticed but I had forgotten to put in on my tbr list and I forgot all about it. Your great review has reminded me though and you’ve definitely made me want to read this! Sounds really interesting 🙂 🙂

I liked this one a lot – more than I expected to, actually! I found it for £1 in a charity shop and thought I would try it.

I know – and it’s less than 100 years in the UK since all women were allowed the vote!
There have been a lot of suffragette-related books lately because last year was the centenary of women over 30 / property holders gaining the vote.

Love the historical context in this one. It actually surprises me how recent some places in the world had given equal voting votes for men and women too. Great review!
