Scary stuff on the blog

As Halloween approaches, there are going to be some suitably sinister blog posts here, starting from tomorrow. I thought it would be best to warn you. Here is what you can look forward to reading (with all the lights on and a blanket to hide beneath):

  • Book reviews of Rosemary’s Baby by Ira Levin, Haverscroft by S A Harris, The Haunted Hotel by Wilkie Collins and The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty.
  • A discussion about clowns.
  • Plus, a short horror story written specially for you.

You might also like my post from last year, about children’s TV shows which scared me too much.

That’s all for today. I think I’ll go and make some pumpkin soup now.

    1. Thanks! PS. your blog posts don’t appear on my Reader app any more (not sure why) but I still read them via Twitter ☺

  1. This sounds great. I have not read Haverscroft, The Haunted Hotel or The Exorcist, and I think clowns are some of the most terrifying beings there are!

    1. Thank you ☺ hope you like the reviews and that the clown post does not scare you too much!

  2. A short horror story??? 😱😱 Discussion on clownss?!? 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

The nice version of clowns are in children’s toys/TV shows etc. And of course there are plenty of people who are clowning as professionals, who I’m sure are nice also. But this gets overshadowed by the evil clown theme. I hope you liked my post πŸ™‚

      1. I like all your posts, they’re brilliant this one included πŸ™‚ I’m so sorry I don’t visit more often, I’ve been struggling with getting a lot done lately but I always like your posts πŸ™‚ <3

        1. Thank you β™₯
Please don’t worry about how often you visit. I find it impossible to keep up with every blog I follow so you’re not alone there!
I appreciate it when you do visit πŸ™‚

          1. I don’t have an SSL certificate on my site (can’t afford it yet), so browsers such as Chrome will insist the site is not safe. That might be why you had trouble commenting. No worries ☺
