Rain: a poem

Rain, rain, go away,
Don’t come back til after May.
Give us time for the land to dry,
Without a deluge from the sky.
No more raining cats and dogs,
Turning playgrounds into bogs.
No more storms that churn the mud,
Rushing the rivers into flood.
No more showers, make them stop,
We don’t want a single drop.
Rain, rain, go away,
We’ve flippin’ had enough of you, OK?

I wish you could send some of your unwanted rain to my area, we need it!

Agree! Someone mentioned that it’s snowed or rained every day since the start of the year ☔️

Yes, where I live it has definitely rained every day! (no snow, though)
