I love the classics on your list. They are some of my all-time favorites ❤️

I did quite a few re-reads of the books I keep on my shelf (they have to earn their place!) and they turn out to be classics mostly. I’m glad they are some of your faves too 🙂

The only ones I’ve read are the classics and The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, all of which I enjoyed. Glad you had so many good reads this year – hope 2022 brings even more!

Thank you – hope you have a great reading year ahead too! I’m re-reading the Adrian Mole books, as I do every few years 🙂

I have to admit I just read (actually listened to the audio book of) Pride and Prejudice for the very first time, this year. I enjoyed it, but I just don’t think I’m a novel of manners sort of reader.

I found the writing style difficult the first time I read it. I’ve re-read a few times since and I like it more every time! Are you considering reading any more Austens or was the one quite enough? 😉

I’m in the majority (have read the classics and Adrian Mole). Happy reading in 2022 😀

Thanks Jee – happy new year! 🙂 I didn’t decide to pick a certain number of favourite reads, I just made a list and it was 19 so thought I might as well round them up!
